Dear Parents,
As your child participates in book club this summer, please remember that all reading assignments are expected to be completed at home. This allows us time during our meetings to discuss the story and participate in activities connected to the text. Your child can read the book independently, together with a parent or sibling, or even listen to audio files of the novel (or a mixture depending on what you need week to week!). The audio files can also help your child "catch up" if they miss a session or have a busy week with other summer activities.
The audio files can be accessed in the link below. Please note that the files are divided by "discs" and not page numbers or chapters. Therefore, your child may need your support in matching up their books with the files. It's always best for a child to follow along in the book as they listen to the audio files.
